Background History
Budaka District, like many regions, faces interconnected challenges including deforestation, improper waste disposal, and inadequate sanitation infrastructure. JEM Renewable Energy Technologies aims to tackle these issues through the transformation of household waste into high-quality biogas, packaged in recyclable cylinders. Our project is in its early stages, with small-scale production, and aims to scale up to an 800 cubic meter biogas facility to serve 25,000 households in Budaka District suburbs.
